WARRANTYCLOCK / DATES WORTH KEEPING

A little foresight.
A clearer calendar.

Keep the dates. Leave the paperwork out.

No alerts are running. This app does not connect to your calendar or schedule notifications. You control import and any alerts in your calendar app.

ONE DATE AT A TIME

Add an item

A simple name. No receipts, account numbers or private IDs.

Use the exact date from your records. We do not infer terms, eligibility, cancellation deadlines or renewal rules.

0 = end/renewal marker only. A positive value adds a separate review-day marker.

Dates are calendar days, not time-zone conversions.

YOUR DATE LIST

Room to remember.

Starts at your device’s local date. Adjust for planning; not a live clock.

A place for your next important date.

TAKE THE DATES WITH YOU

Keep a copy. Set your own alerts.

Calendar export includes all saved items, even dates already passed. Filters do not change exports.

Nothing is saved automatically. Save JSON before closing.

Calendar import, privacy & important limits

Markers, not a reminder service

Each item creates an all-day end/renewal event. A positive lead time creates a second all-day review event. There are no timed alarms in the file. Import the .ics file into a calendar you control, inspect each date, and configure notifications there if wanted. Calendar import has not been tested in a real calendar client.

Calendar dates never shift with time zones or daylight saving. The day after each marker is the exclusive event end, not an extra day of coverage. Purchase/start dates do not create events. The review date may be before the purchase/start date; reduce the lead time if that is not useful.

Edits are not calendar sync

Item IDs remain stable in backups and exports. Editing increases an event revision, but calendar apps may still duplicate rather than update re-imported files. Deleting an item here does not delete events already imported. Changing review lead to 0 does not remove an earlier review event from your calendar.

Keep an editable backup

Everything lives in browser memory until you save a JSON backup. Closing or reloading loses work; browsers may suppress unsaved-change warnings. A download request is not proof a file was kept. Check Downloads. Files are unencrypted. There is no browser storage, cloud sync, account, app analytics or data-upload connection.

Up to 200 items, 120-character labels, 0–3650 review days and 256 KiB JSON backups are local technical limits, not a paid quota. Duplicate labels are allowed; each item has a separate ID. Dates are entered manually and are not legal, insurance or coverage advice. No document uploads, receipt storage or eligibility decisions.

Free beta: scope, privacy and limits

No account. No charge. Manual dates only. No alerts are running; there is no calendar connection, background reminder or notification delivery. Downloaded .ics files require your manual review and import.

Technical limits: 200 items; 120 UTF-16 code units per label; 0–3650 review days; 256 KiB JSON backup. Dates use years 0001–9998. These are local reliability bounds, not paid quotas.

Local processing: your date records stay in this tab’s memory and are not uploaded by this app. Closing or reloading loses work. No app analytics or persistent browser storage. When hosted, the hosting provider receives normal access logs for page and asset requests.

Keep exports private: JSON backups and calendar files are unencrypted copies. Clearing the app does not delete downloaded files. Check that downloads saved before closing. Native browser downloads, keyboard behavior and mobile layouts still need release QA.
